The Next Town Board Meeting for the Town of Stark will be held on Tuesday August 13, 2024. The meeting location is the Town of Stark Courthouse on Elwood Road in Starkville. The address is Town of Stark, 703 Elwood Road, Fort Plain, NY, 13339.

It is highly unlikely that a decision will be made on the project at this meeting. New Leaf has yet to respond to the concerns brought forward. 

We still encourage all to attend the meetings, which are informative and show the project’s importance to the community. However, we don’t want you to get too high expectations for the outcome of the August meeting. We will keep you posted. Thank you for your support!

    New Leaf Energy Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS)

    There will be no discussion of the FEIS at the next meeting of the Town of Stark Town Board on August 13, 2024. New Leaf has not presented the Town Board a completed document for the Town Board and their consultants to review and it is not anticipated one will be ready prior to the August 13 meeting. As part of the process, the Town Board has 10 days after receiving the document to review the FEIS with their consultants and disclose their findings prior to the FEIS being made available for public review. We will keep everyone updated to the progress of the project.
